Misunderstood by right-wing fanatics across the States, graffiti artist Saber decided to produce his take on the American flag; designing atop the stars and stripes, Saber created a series of flag murals, each unique, with designs based on what The United States means to the artist as well as things unrelated, that are nevertheless personal to him. The flag series was captured on video and became a finalist in a state wide campaign for health care reform, a project much supported by Saber. Print versions of the flag are now available to purchase here. Check out this video for further information on the whole project entitled Flag, 2010.

Ron English’s renowned pop art will be making an appearance on The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special entitled In 3-D! On Ice! The show looks to feature a painted variation of English’s Homer/Jackson Pollock motif, in 10 seconds.

The video features a hilarious original score, written by Ron English and recorded by Brandon Jemeyson. The content itself is provided by Morgan Spurlock from Alex Perleman’s 100 hours of filming. The Morgan Spurlock-directed episode airs this Sunday, January 10th via Fox.
